Visual Storytelling
Ideas, Made Visible

Telling a visual story through presentation decks is about more than creating beautiful slides; it’s about directing attention, shaping meaning, and guiding belief. I think of a deck the way I’d think about a narrative arc. Every slide has a job. Some set context, some create tension, some introduce insight, and others resolve it with clarity and conviction. Visual choices—typography, color, pacing, scale, whitespace—aren’t decorative; they’re narrative devices. They control rhythm. They signal what matters. They help an audience feel the idea before they fully understand it.

I design for the moment of delivery. A deck isn’t a document; it’s a performance tool. Slides should support the speaker, not compete with them. That means building visual cues that anchor the conversation, guide transitions, and leave space for curiosity—so the audience leans in rather than checks out.

Ultimately, visual storytelling in deck and presentation design is about transformation. You’re moving people from uncertainty to alignment, from information to insight, from hesitation to action. When it works, the audience doesn’t remember individual slides—they remember the idea.

Brand Launch
CANNES MAIN STAGE: 2025

In 2025, Havas launched a campaign championing neurodiversity as the creative industry’s future. Taking the world’s most prestigious creative stage to drive the point home, Havas kicked off its presence at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity with speakers such as Donna Murphy and Lola Young. In addition to the main stage, the launch graphics were present across digital billboards along the Croisette, the famous boulevard in the French city that hosts the convention center where the festival takes place each year. The teaser graphics on the billboards drove curious minds to unique landing pages hosting informative downloadable materials.

Interactive graphics, social media posts, and print and digital materials supported and promoted the event before and during the festival.
